Audi platforms share technology across the Volkswagen Group while retaining model-, engine- and software-specific calibrations. TDI and TFSI applications may use Bosch EDC17, MD1, MED17, MG1 or Continental SIMOS systems depending on generation.
A professional request should include the exact engine, ECU identification, read method and drivetrain notes. S tronic or other transmission work requires its own TCU file and controller details.
